A Hydraulic Diaphragm Pump is a reciprocating type of positive displacement pump. These pumps are used for hazardous, corrosive and toxic fluids because of its glandless leak free design. In this pump diaphragm is hydraulically actuated. All moving parts are running in the oil. The diaphragm material is usually Teflon. The diaphragm has long life because of hydraulic balance form both sides of it. In double diaphragm pump rupture indicator system is provided to detect diaphragm failure. In case of diaphragm failure the vacuum turns into the pressure and this pressure is indicated by pressure gauge or transmitter.
